Within the second Dekad of July 2017 (11th to 20th); dry conditions were still predominant over south western and southern cattle corridor while Substantial wet conditions were confined in West Nile region, parts of Mid Northern region and Albertine sub region. 

The forecast for the third Dekad of July (21st to 31st), overall, wet conditions are expected to prevail over the Northern, North Western, North Eastern and the Eastern regions. However, the Lake Victoria basin, Central and parts of western in Albertine region are expected to experience isolated showers and thunderstorms while dry conditions are expected to persist in South Western and Southern cattle corridor and the chances for light showers are marginal.
